Key Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled professional to play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety on our sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implementing control measures.

Additionally, they will develop and deliver training programs to promote safety awareness among staff and contractors.

They will also collaborate with project managers to integrate safety protocols into project planning and execution.

Furthermore, the candidate will investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), preferably in the civil engineering sector
  • A Certificate IV or Diploma in OH&S or equivalent
  • Strong administration skills and computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
