Work Health and Injury Prevention Specialist

An opportunity exists for a Work Health and Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Safety, Quality, Risk and Assurance (SQRA) team, you will be responsible for enhancing workplace wellbeing and promoting safety through innovative and outcome-focused employee health initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in mental health and psychosocial strategies, with excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner. They will also have a proactive approach to problem-solving and empathy when dealing with employees and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the SQRA team with the assessment, development and implementation of psychosocial initiatives
- Providing expert advice and guidance on employee wellbeing and injury prevention initiatives
- Implementing continuous improvement of injury prevention resources and safety training modules
