In this position, you will be responsible for conducting ergonomic and manual handling assessments, providing onsite proactive physiotherapy and early intervention, collaborating with employers to implement prevention-focused health initiatives, supporting workers to stay safe and confident, and delivering education and practical strategies to reduce risk.
To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, general status with AHPRA, previous MSK physiotherapy experience, full working rights in Australia, and a valid driver's licence.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting thorough ergonomic and manual handling assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend solutions.
- Providing proactive and preventative physiotherapy services to employees, focusing on early intervention and injury management.
- Collaborating closely with employers to develop and implement effective health and safety initiatives, aimed at reducing workplace injuries and improving overall well-being.
- Supporting employees to maintain their physical and mental health, promoting confidence and job readiness through education and training.
- Delivering high-quality education and practical strategies to help employees recognize and mitigate risks, ensuring a safer work environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- General registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Previous experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
- Full working rights in Australia, including the ability to hold a valid driver's licence.
