About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at CEA Technologies. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring seamless inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including physical counts and cycle checks.
  • Process inventory transactions in our Inventory Management System (IMS) to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Comply with all import/export/re-export accounting and handling requirements, ensuring compliance with EAR, ITAR, and Defence Strategic Goods/Dual-use items.
  • Record keeping, filing of stock adjustment forms, and associated documents/attachments, in accordance with CEA Policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with inventory issues and returns to and from warehouses, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Cycle counting and placement or relocation of stock, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Accurate data entry into computer-based inventory management system.
  • Other general stores duties, including processing requests and preparing consignment notes as required.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of inventory/warehousing management systems and principles.
  • Competent in use of Microsoft applications at an intermediate level, with proficiency in IMS/MRP principles and use of PRONTO advantageous.
  • High attention to detail with strong data entry skills, strong analytical and process management skills.
  • Self-motivated to work autonomously or within a team, with high level personal drive and resilience.
  • Knowledge of WHSE and ability to implement safe working practices.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including customer service skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and experience meeting strict deadlines.
  • High level communication and numeracy skills, with good computer skills to use inventory management system and Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to do regular lifting and demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling techniques.
  • Current Drivers Licence (unrestricted) and Forklift Licence (advantageous).
Eligibility
  • An Australian Citizen.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance - Baseline.

The successful candidate must be able to obtain a clearance prior to commencement.
