About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at CEA Technologies. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring seamless warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including physical counts and cycle checks.
  • Process inventory transactions in our Inventory Management System (IMS) to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Comply with all import/export/re-export accounting and handling requirements, including EAR, ITAR, and Defence Strategic Goods/Dual-use items.
  • Record keeping and filing of stock adjustment forms and associated documents/attachments, in accordance with CEA Policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with inventory issues and returns to and from warehouses, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Cycle counting and placement or relocation of stock, as required.
  • Accurate data entry into computer-based inventory management system.
  • Other general stores duties, including processing requests and preparing consignment notes as required.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of inventory/warehousing management systems and principles.
  • Competent in use of Microsoft applications at an intermediate level, with proficiency in IMS/MRP principles and use of PRONTO advantageous.
  • High attention to detail with strong data entry skills, strong analytical and process management skills.
  • Self-motivated to work autonomously or within a team, with high level personal drive and resilience.
  • Knowledge of WHSE and ability to implement safe working practices.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including customer service skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and experience meeting strict deadlines.
  • High level communication and numeracy skills, with good computer skills to use inventory management system and Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to do regular lifting and demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling techniques.
  • Current Drivers Licence (unrestricted) and Forklift Licence (advantageous).
Eligibility
  • An Australian Citizen.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance - Baseline.

The successful candidate must be able to obtain a clearance prior to commencement.
