Poultry General Maintenance Attendant

We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, with a passion for animal welfare and sustainable farming practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections as per site schedules to identify wear and tear.
  • Attend breakdowns and assist with general repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of farm facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure they meet safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular prestart checks on farm equipment.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing.
  • Assist the maintenance planner in maintaining an inventory of spare parts and supplies for efficient management.
  • Perform routine cleaning and disinfection of maintenance equipment and facilities to maintain good hygiene.
  • Conduct minor repairs, adjustments, and replacements on farm machinery, feeding systems, ventilation equipment, and other tools to prevent breakdowns and disruptions to operations.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in record-keeping and data analysis for farm management purposes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with staff, suppliers, and stakeholders.
