Job Title: Rehabilitation Consultant

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals and make a real difference in people's lives. As a rehabilitation consultant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their wellness and recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake occupational rehabilitation assessments and develop effective rehabilitation plans that cater to the unique needs of each client.
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and design programs to support clients in achieving maximal work participation.
  • Understand healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with either AHPRA or ESSA.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • Customer-first mindset with a focus on quality outcomes.
