Forward-thinking professionals with a passion for data-driven insights are sought to spearhead the growth and development of our economics practice. As a Quantitative Lead, you will play a pivotal role in tackling Australia's most prominent strategic issues and driving business outcomes.

The Role

We require a highly skilled individual to manage engagements, deliver high-quality quantitative analysis, and develop innovative solutions to complex problems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in a relevant discipline and have at least 3 years of experience in economic analysis, econometric studies, forecasting, predictive modelling, or bespoke business modelling.

  • Developing and implementing advanced statistical models to inform business decisions.
  • Designing and building best-practice economic and statistical models to drive business outcomes.
  • Providing expert advice on strategy, policy, and business decisions through the conversion of quantitative analysis into actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and concise reports.
  • Proven expertise in coding languages such as R, Python, and SQL, with the ability to review, teach, and deploy production-grade models.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or Doctorate in a relevant field (Econometrics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Analytics, or similar).
  • At least 3 years of experience in economic analysis, econometric studies, forecasting, predictive modelling, or bespoke business modelling.
  • Experience managing the end-to-end production of deliverables, including analysis, models, and reports.
  • Ability to design, build, and review best-practice economic, statistical, and/or predictive models.
  • Strong stakeholder-facing skills, with excellent report writing, communication, and presentation abilities.
