Care Professional

As a Care Professional, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care to residents at our state-of-the-art aged care facility.
This position involves working as part of an integrated team to support residents in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities- Support residents to live independently and make informed choices about their care.
- Contribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of residents through assessment and observation.
- Implement clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse, and as documented in the resident's plan of care.
- Assist residents with their personal care and hygiene needs while promoting independence.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Ability to engage with residents and experience in dementia support.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads.
- Demonstrated flexibility, empathy and patience when interacting with older adults.
- Demonstrated ability to provide holistic care.
- Demonstrated respect for residents' privacy, dignity and self-esteem.
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
- Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
