Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resource Adviser to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in driving initiatives that align with our values, empowering employees, and creating a workplace where everyone can thrive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of HR strategies across the organisation, providing expert guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Offering expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Providing recommendations to improve workforce planning and succession strategies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of IR strategies that align with organisational goals
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including developing job advertisements, screening candidates, facilitating interviews and assisting with onboarding
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, promote diversity and inclusion, and foster a positive workplace culture
  • Coordinate programs that support employee well-being and mental health
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies to ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of HR projects, including learning and development programs, leadership development, and organisational change initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, at least 5 years of experience in a similar HR advisory role, with exposure to a broad range of HR functions.

Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, award interpretation, and employment legislation is essential, as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.

A proactive and adaptable mindset with strong problem-solving abilities is also required.
