We are seeking a seasoned senior account manager to lead our Outsourced Middle Office team in Sydney or Melbourne. Our client is a global financial institution with a strong presence in the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client escalations, leading team updates, building strong relationships, and identifying opportunities for efficiencies and service enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage clients escalations and issues for Middle Office.
  • Lead Middle Office updates in Client Service reviews and Ops to Ops meetings.
  • Building strong collaborative relationships with clients.
  • Escalate client issues appropriately for resolution within the broader MO.
  • Analysing Client reporting and identifying opportunities for efficiencies and service enhancements.
  • Chair the Middle Office Client Forum.
  • Support client change and new services initiatives as required.
  • Generate ideas for process improvement to systems and processes.
  • Adhering to the risk and control framework, including the maintenance and update of internal procedures.
  • Manage incident process effectively and within reasonable timeframes.

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • 5+ years' experience in an Account Manager capacity.
  • Tertiary Degree – preferably in the areas of commerce and finance.
  • Knowledge of the fixed income, equities, foreign exchange and cash & FX markets and corporate actions and derivatives.
  • Solid understanding of outsourced Middle Office services.
  • Systems knowledge of the following software: TradeFlow, Hi-Portfolio, Calypso, IntelliMatch, MS Word and Excel.
