About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced financial professional to join our client, a leading FMCG company, as a Cash & Asset Manager on a contractual basis.

You will be responsible for overseeing 2-3 direct reports and reporting to the group's Finance Manager. This role has potential for long-term opportunities, career progression, and flexible work arrangements.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Administer accounting policies and maintain established systems, procedures, and controls to ensure efficient cash management.
  • Support the Financial Controller in delivering periodic, quarterly, and annual business results to senior leadership.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance control frameworks, automate processes, and improve data and reporting for Asset & Loss Prevention and Cash Control functions.
  • E nsure the accuracy of cash balance sheets and complete reconciliations promptly.
  • Liaise with external auditors on controls for cash control and loss prevention.
Your Background
  • External or internal auditing background with CA/CPA qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of debits and credits, with a minimum five years of overall accounting experience.
  • Experience in training, supervising, and mentoring teams.
  • Experience working within a commercial business is advantageous.
Compensation Package

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
