Electrical Infrastructure Specialist Opportunity

This role involves delivering primary electrical designs for turnkey high-voltage substation projects. Experience in high-voltage design at 132kV and above is essential, with prior involvement in utility projects within VIC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and documentation for substation primary systems
  • Earthing system design, documentation, and studies
  • Ensure all designs meet relevant standards and specifications
  • Provide technical support, analysis, and report preparation
  • Support commissioning of high-voltage systems

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Chartered or Professional Engineer status is preferred
  • Strong background in HV substation design, layouts, and related civil, structural, and primary electrical elements
  • Demonstrated experience on large-scale substation projects
  • Proficiency with CAD software
  • Familiarity with HV substation construction standards and best practices
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, QA processes, and relevant Australian standards
