Electrical Design Specialist

This is a key role in our Transmission & Electrification team, where you will provide crucial electrical engineering input to projects and mentor junior staff. We are seeking an experienced Engineer with strong knowledge of primary substation elements, transmission lines, underground cables, and power system earthing design.

As a Senior or Associate Engineer, you will lead HV (Secondary) design for transmission & distribution projects, develop and review technical documentation, and support high voltage scope for Owner's Engineer and Technical Due Diligence projects.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Typically 8-14+ years' post-graduate experience ideally in a consultancy environment.
  • Existing RPEQ/RPEV or ability to attain it is required.
  • Experience in EHV and HV electrical engineering from conceptual to detailed design in substations, cable systems, transmission & distribution utilities, or renewable energy projects.
