Job SummaryWe're seeking an HR Advisor to join our People & Culture team in Melbourne. As a key member, you'll provide employee relations advice, support employee engagement initiatives, and maintain accurate records. This role requires a proactive individual who can adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations: Provide HR advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Assist with performance management procedures, support the team in implementing HR initiatives and projects, and help manage the onboarding and offboarding processes.
- General Support: Review and improve current processes and procedures, maintain and update employee records, and provide general administrative support to the HR team.
- Compliance and Reporting: Manage the eligibility to work processes, ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, and assist in preparing HR reports and maintaining HR metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Three years of experience in Human Resources, with one year in a role with advisory-level responsibilities.
- Knowledge of visa and eligibility to work processes and procedures, experience with payroll reporting and practices, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to anticipating and responding to HR-related issues and challenges.
