Senior Mental Health Professional - Clinical Lead

HiTalent Recruitment is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join a community-based Mental Health Program in Lismore, delivered by a well-respected Not for Profit. This program is funded by the PHN to deliver inclusive mental health services to the community.

This role offers a competitive salary of up to $115k with super and $15,900 salary packaging benefits, and is open to full- or part-time (4 days per week) candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of Therapeutic Services: Provide evidence-based psychological therapies and play therapies tailored to the needs of clients.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Supervision and Line Management: Actively provide supervision, case reviews, and line management to support the professional growth and development of the team and students.
  • Program Development: Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives for the service.
  • Team Leadership: Facilitate team meetings and lead decisions around care and risk.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with a relevant professional body - AASW or APHRA
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the mental health sector
  • Demonstrated proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, case formulations, diagnosis, and assessment
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, including the delivery of crisis intervention
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage and lead a multidisciplinary team.
