About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research Project Manager to lead our dynamic team of clinical trial coordinators and research support staff in the area of Haematology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and establishing clinical trials and research projects, working closely with our multi-disciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage clinical research projects, ensuring timely and successful completion
  • Develop and implement clinical trial protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate clinical trials and research projects
  • Manage and mentor junior trial coordinators, providing guidance and support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with team members, stakeholders, and sponsors
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency or hold tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Medicine, Pharmacy, or other health-related discipline
  • Extensive experience in clinical research trials, particularly pharmaceutical
  • Understanding of ICH-GCP principles and National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) policy and procedures
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership and ability to mentor junior trial coordinators
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Actively contributes to the professional development of self and others
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial management of trial budgets and CTMS database management
