The PositionThe Senior Clinical Lead (SCL) role reports directly to the Manager of Community Health Services (MCHS) and works in collaboration with Senior Management and administrative staff to guide and support the Community Health Services Team. This position guarantees the delivery of dependable, high-quality in-home nursing care that emphasizes a person-centered approach for clients, families, and healthcare professionals while adhering to best-practice clinical standards.
Key responsibilities include overseeing a manageable caseload and providing both internal and external clinical supervision to ensure quality assurance, accreditation, and other organizational objectives.
Qualifications- Significant experience in leading and managing healthcare teams.
- Proven ability to uphold high clinical standards in line with compliance, governance, and the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS).
- Exceptional time management capabilities with the skill to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
- Innovative thinking, opportunity recognition, and advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting and manage multiple tasks to achieve strategic goals.
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA).
- Successful National Police Check.
- Working with Vulnerable People Check.
- Full Tasmanian Driver's License.
- Willingness to travel intrastate as necessary.
