We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Horticultural Apprentice and embark on a rewarding journey in the world of horticulture.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced horticulturists to develop your skills and gain practical knowledge in all aspects of garden maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the maintenance of high-end residential gardens, including planting, irrigation, and turf management.
  • Developing and practicing proper pruning, trimming, and weeding techniques.
  • Contributing to soil preparation, composting, and fertilization activities.
  • Working under the guidance of senior team members to design and layout outdoor spaces.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Adhering to safety guidelines and promoting a safe working environment.

Requirements

Your attributes and requirements:

  • Strong interest in plants and gardens.
  • Commitment to completing an apprenticeship.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Punctuality and strong work ethic.
  • Well-presented and physically fit individual.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Current driver's license an advantage, but not essential.
  • Sense of humor and ability to maintain a positive attitude.
