Horticultural Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work alongside experienced horticulturists in high end residential settings.

As an Apprentice Landscape Gardener, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain practical knowledge in all aspects of garden maintenance. This entry-level position offers hands-on training and the chance to contribute to exciting projects.

You will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of landscapes, including planting, irrigation, and turf management. You will also learn and practice proper pruning, trimming, and weeding techniques.

Additionally, you will participate in soil preparation, composting, and fertilization activities. You will contribute to the design and layout of outdoor spaces under the guidance of senior team members.

Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will adhere to safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment.

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $60,000 AUD. You will also receive a $500 sign-on bonus once probation is completed.
