Vendor Assurance Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Vendor Assurance Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a quality-focused professional to contribute to the assurance of food safety and compliance in a dynamic environment.

  1. Vendor Management: Approve vendors based on their adherence to food safety, quality, and GMP standards.
  2. Defective Material Management: Oversee the process of managing defective materials, ensuring timely responses to non-conformances.
  3. Raw Material Acceptance: Conduct thorough assessments and inspections of raw materials, maintaining accurate records in SAP.
  4. Audits: Participate in internal audits and drive vendor audits, ensuring timely closure of CARs.
  5. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct structured analysis for incidents related to quality failures.
  6. Training: Deliver training sessions on the Vendor Assurance process to colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Food Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a quality specialist, preferably with SAP knowledge.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, including Vendor auditing, SAP-QM, and TPM.
  • Strong focus on food safety and compliance.
