We are seeking a skilled Food Safety & Compliance professional to join our team in Melbourne.
- Support the onsite Food Safety & Compliance Manager, General Manager Quality Assurance, and Business Manager in maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.
- Conduct food safety induction training for new employees and facilitate annual refresher training for all staff.
- Provide advice, support, and hands-on training to develop skills and confidence in the team to effectively manage Food Safety/HACCP and risk prevention.
- Investigate, report, and analyze customer complaints, including food poisoning allegations and other safety investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in food safety training and compliance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or related field.
- Food Safety Auditing (Internal and External) and HACCP Qualification.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment involving QA, HACCP, Food Safety.
- Prior experience in working within a team and prior knowledge/experience in ISO 22000:2018 certification.
