Job Overview

As a Compliance Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our sites comply with internal and external food safety and compliance requirements. You will support the Compliance Supervisor and Quality Manager in maintaining effective relationships with management and operational managers.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of safety procedures, product safety, quality, and legality issues. Experience in Root Cause identification, preparing corrective actions, and confirming effectiveness is also essential.

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining controls and standards to enable operational compliance with Food Safety regulations and requirements. This includes conducting internal audits, maintaining registrations and certifications, and ensuring site compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Additionally, you will develop training materials and lead educational programs for the operations team to promote continuous improvement. You must adhere to and stay informed about all relevant legislation, product safety, and quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining Food Safety systems that meet legislative and customer requirements
  • Monitoring and maintaining controls and standards for operational compliance with Food Safety regulations
  • Supporting and attending regular auditing programs
  • Conducting internal audits and maintaining registrations and certifications
  • Assisting in ensuring site compliance with internal and external audit requirements
  • Developing training materials and leading educational programs
  • Adhering to and staying informed about relevant legislation and product safety issues
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and product safety
  • Experience in Root Cause identification and preparing corrective actions
  • Appropriate knowledge of HACCP and quality management systems
  • Qualifications in Internal or External Auditing (ISO9001:2015) or relevant disciplines
  • Extensive experience in a similar role within a multi-commodity operation
  • Experience in Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Schemes
