Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Food Safety Specialist to oversee the food safety management system, ensuring safe, high-quality food products meet legislative and customer requirements.

This role will support the catering operation by maintaining industry standards, undertaking audits, and providing comprehensive reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the HACCP Food Safety Program
  • Oversee food safety systems, processes, compliance, and allergen management for continuous improvement
  • Deliver and oversee food safety systems, processes, and compliance
  • Conduct internal food safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections
  • Provide comprehensive reports including observations and recommendations
  • Manage site food safety incident investigations and risk management
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP, and quality standards
  • Minimum 5 years experience in commercial food production or catering
  • Experience conducting and managing audits and reviews
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • A highly motivated and flexible working approach
