This role is ideal for a strategic HR professional who can shape a high-performing culture by providing expert advice on people management, human resources and employee relations matters.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills to identify opportunities, challenges and risks, and the ability to develop clear solutions while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

As part of our People Services leadership team, you will work closely with the Employee Relations Manager to leverage industry best practice and support leaders and employees across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on people management, human resources and employee relations matters
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention
  • Work closely with leaders and employees to resolve complex case management issues
  • Liaise with external parties, including unions and government agencies

About You:

We are looking for a highly influential and results-driven individual who has a degree qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline. You will also have considerable experience across all aspects of HR and ER, including partnering and coaching leaders and managing union relationships.

You will be adept at advising on enterprise agreements and employment legislation, as well as managing workplace investigations and complex case management issues.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate stakeholders at all levels.
