We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wine Bar Manager to lead our new wine bar from the ground up.

About the Role

As Wine Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, including staffing, service delivery, and supplier management. You will work closely with the Head Chef to develop wine and food pairings that showcase the best of our menu.

You will also be responsible for leading from the floor, engaging with guests, and delivering an exceptional, personalised service experience. This includes developing and hosting wine tastings, wine club events, and private functions.

In addition, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and rostering your own team, as well as monitoring sales performance and participating in regular management meetings.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years' hospitality management experience, ideally within a wine bar or high-quality venue. You will also need to have strong wine knowledge and established industry connections, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A passion for boutique wines, local producers, and exceptional service is essential, as is the ability to thrive in a customer-facing role and collaborate effectively with others.
