About Us
We are a high-end wine bar seeking an experienced and passionate Wine Manager to join our team.
As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, including staffing, service delivery, and supplier management.
You will work closely with our Head Chef to develop wine and food pairings, leading from the floor and delivering an exceptional personalized service experience to our guests.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and staff management
- Develop and implement wine and food pairing strategies in collaboration with our Head Chef
- Lead from the floor, engaging with guests and fostering a welcoming atmosphere
- Plan and host wine tastings, wine club events, and private functions
- Recruit, train, and roster your own team members
- Maintain sales performance, manage budgets, and participate in regular management meetings
About You
- A minimum of 5 years' hospitality management experience, preferably within a wine bar or upscale venue
- Strong wine knowledge and industry network – sommelier certification highly regarded
- Warm and approachable, with excellent communication skills to build rapport with guests
- PASSIONATE ABOUT BOUTIQUE WINES AND EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE
- Skilled in wine and food pairing
- A collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced customer-facing role
