
Justice Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a Justice Officer. The successful applicant will be part of a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service, providing support and advice to the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial services, including procurement, administration, and data management in accordance with relevant legislation and organisational requirements.
- Undertake all procurement functions, ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational regulations.
- Monitor and liaise with customers, administrators, and prison staff on various matters.
- Analyse and report on statistical information, obtain quotes and prepare estimates for works and services.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate well-developed computer literacy and strong analytical skills.
- Show good knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations.
- Hold experience with Oracle or similar finance-related systems is desirable.
- Holding experience with prison financial processes is also desirable.

About the Business Unit:
The Dame Phyllis Frost Centre is a medium to maximum-security facility for female offenders located within the West Metropolitan Region, Department of Justice. Our centre is dedicated to supporting prisoners with mental health, cognitive impairment, physical disabilities and complex needs.
