Construction Equipment Technician

About the Role:

The Resident Plant Mechanic will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluation and mechanical maintenance services on a wide range of construction machinery.

The successful candidate will have relevant trade certification, intermediate PC skills, and excellent communication skills. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with heavy equipment and is committed to delivering high-quality results.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Performing diagnostic evaluation and mechanical maintenance services
  • Attending to production breakdowns and undertaking diagnostic work
  • Liaising with technical support staff to achieve efficient outcomes and assist in product improvements
  • Completing and submitting all relevant documentation and reporting paperwork
  • Maintaining good working relationships with customers, peers, and other departments
Requirements:
