About the Role:

The Workforce Reform Lead plays a pivotal part in shaping and delivering workforce reform across various departments, driving organisational change, strengthening workforce capability, and embedding new ways of working that support high-performing and values-driven cultures.

  • Designing and implementing strategic workforce change management initiatives that support complex reform projects, with a focus on stakeholder engagement, communication, and readiness planning
  • Advising governance committees on strategic direction, implementation, and evaluation of workforce change to ensure alignment with departmental goals and legislative obligations
  • Managing the human impacts of change, supporting staff through transition, building workforce resilience, and driving cultural improvement

What we're looking for:

A strong experience in workforce transformation, HR strategy, and/or organisational change, with proven capability in leading teams, coaching stakeholders, and influencing executive leaders. Expertise in HR, industrial relations or public sector workforce policy is also required, along with confidence in navigating sensitive issues and a commitment to inclusive, ethical, and values-driven outcomes.
