Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Opportunity

MARS Recruitment is partnering with a leading investment company to find a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As a key member of the Executive Leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic financial and legal guidance, ensuring operational excellence, and shaping a high-performing culture.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and innovative professional to drive the company's success. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in accounting and finance at the level of FC or CFO, with a proven track record of successfully steering financial strategy, fundraising, and overseeing investor relations.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with industry trends and company objectives.
  • Direct the financial planning process encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Supervise all financial operations including accounting, treasury, tax adherence, and regulatory compliance.
  • Foster relationships with investors, financial entities, and stakeholders, effectively communicating financial performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities, deploying proactive strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Evaluate potential acquisitions, or partnerships, leading due diligence efforts and financial assessments.
  • Lead the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and cultivating a culture of excellence.

Requirements:

  • Over 15 years of experience in accounting and finance at the level of FC or CFO.
  • Proven track record of successfully steering financial strategy, fundraising, and overseeing investor relations.
  • Extensive expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Outstanding abilities in analysis, strategic thinking, and resolving complex problems.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal finesse, and strong leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.

What We Offer:

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately $250,000 - $300,000 AUD per annum, commensurate with experience. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth environment and make a significant impact on the company's success.
