
Temporary Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced administrator to provide day-to-day support for our office operations. This is a temporary three-month position with immediate start required.
This role will play a key part in providing essential services to the community, working within a collaborative and supportive environment that offers a structured workplace where your contributions will make a difference.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support for smooth office operations.
- Manage correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and other communications with high-volume data entry.
- Maintain office records, files, and documentation.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes as needed.
- Evaluate compliance with workplace policies and procedures.
- Prepare and process financial documents.
- Occasionally complete administrative tasks at events, requiring field work.
- Prior experience in administration or office support roles.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle large amounts of data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with public sector processes is advantageous but not essential.
This role is based in Newtown, easily accessible by public transport.
