About the Project
John Holland, CPB Contractors and Ghella will be commencing design and construction work for the Sydney Metro West – Eastern Tunnelling Package.
A $1.63 billion project, this package includes construction of 3.5-kilometre tunnels under Sydney Harbour between The Bays and the Sydney CBD, and the excavation of Pyrmont and Hunter Street stations.
The Role:
We are seeking skilled professionals for various positions within the tunnelling team.
- Boilermaker
- TBM Operator
- Tunneller
- Ring Builder
- Franna/Crane Operator
- Dogman/Rigger
- Gantry Crane Operator
- Grout operator/Grouter
- Segment Handler
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
- Trade qualifications
- Relevant up-to-date tickets
- Tunnelling experience will be highly regarded.
- Major project experience.
- Ability to build relationships and rapport with people at all levels.
- Good Communication skills.
- Strong knowledge, understanding and demonstration of OH&S.
What We Offer:
Competitive remuneration of around $150,000 - $250,000 per annum, plus salary continuance and packaging options.
