Governance Program Coordinator

The Program Governance Support Officer will support the Manager, Level Crossing Safety and Director Network Safety in meeting Department of Transport and Planning's obligations related to Network Safety committees and working groups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating committee meetings and/or working groups
- Providing timely and accurate coordination of information and network safety data and reports
- Supporting parliamentary questions, Ministerial requests, and Freedom of Information requests
This role requires effective engagement with others to gather accurate information for various documents and draft high-quality responses to parliamentary and ministerial requests.
Additionally, the officer will maintain accurate records for tracking and process improvement, update level crossing program documents, and provide flexible assistance as needed.
Key Requirements- Qualifications and/or experience in providing administrative support
- MS Office suite proficiency
- Prior experience in managing governance arrangements such as arranging meeting invites, drafting agendas, taking meeting minutes, and coordinating meeting packs and distribution
