  • Deliver primary healthcare under the CARPA Standard Treatment Manual.

  • Collaborate with medical officers, program staff, and Anangu staff to provide comprehensive patient care.

  • Treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions, manage computerised recalls, and conduct patient follow-up care.

  • Conduct child health monitoring and immunisations.

  • Administer adult and COVID-19 vaccinations across all age groups.

  • Deliver patient health education.

  • Assess and refer social welfare issues.

  • Conduct public health screenings for communicable diseases, including STIs, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis A, B & C.

  • Manage antenatal and postnatal care.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with the National Board of Nursing and Midwifery.

  • At least 3 years of post-graduation work experience, with recent acute medical/A&E exposure.

  • Demonstrated experience working in a clinical environment and hospital-based general nursing experience in the past 3 years.

  • Post-basic nursing qualifications in emergency care, advanced nursing, or rural/remote area nursing (desired but not essential).

  • Strong cultural awareness and respect.

  • Advanced clinical skills and confidence in managing diverse patient presentations.
