The strategic direction of the University is led by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President, providing leadership, oversight and advice on governance, planning, communication and stakeholder engagement. The Office supports the Vice-Chancellor in delivering on the University's priorities, while coordinating major initiatives, reporting and high-level events.

As Executive Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Vice-Chancellor and Chief of Staff, contributing to the effective operation and influence of the Office. You will lead and coordinate strategic projects, governance reporting, and executive communications, while managing operational functions and supporting divisional strategies.

We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled professional with extensive executive-level experience, proven expertise in strategic communications, and the ability to manage complex projects with discretion and judgement. Your leadership will ensure the smooth operation of the Vice-Chancellor's Office, making a meaningful impact on the success of the University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver strategic communications engaging diverse audiences with clarity and impact.
  • Prepare reports, proposals and briefings for executive and governance audiences.
  • Lead projects analysing complex information including financial data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced executive environment.
