Job Opportunity: Lead a Community-Led Approach

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the Stronger Places, Stronger People Initiative in the Capricornia Region.

About the Role:
  • This is an opportunity to champion community-led approaches to creating better futures for children and families.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a dedicated team to shift entrenched systems and influence regional and national conversations.
  2. Support communities to design and deliver meaningful, place-based solutions.
  3. Champion the voices of local communities across the Rockhampton Regional and Livingstone Shire Councils.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience, including 3 or more years enabling high performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Completion of a degree or qualification in Management, or similar, with relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills before multiple types of audiences.
  • A collective impact mindset and the presence to inspire confidence, passion and accountability in both internal and external audiences.
  • Advanced strategy and planning skills, including an ability to think strategically on both organisational and systemic levels over multi-year horizons.
