About the Role:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our SecureTech field services team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repair services for our parking systems, including boom gates, relays, and kiosks.



Key Responsibilities:



  2. Identify and repair software and hardware issues within our parking systems.
  3. Perform regular software and hardware preventative maintenance on our parking systems.
  4. Install cables and equipment and configure and test hardware and software.
  5. Document equipment locations and configurations.
  6. Run diagnostic programs or use test equipment to locate the source of issues.
  7. Record information on issues, their symptoms, diagnostic steps taken and their results, and resolution steps, as well as details of preventative maintenance, including travel time and time spent on site, in a regular, consistent, and timely manner.
  8. Regularly monitor the incoming work queue and ensure issues are assigned and actioned in a timely manner.
  9. Communicate effectively with landlords, customer service representatives and leadership team.


Requirements:



  • Good organisational and communications skills.
  • Solid logical troubleshooting ability.
  • Foundational understanding of basic electrical and mechanical principals, basic CCTV camera equipment concepts, basic network concepts, and intermediate PC skills.
  • Data or electrical trade license would be looked upon favourably.
  • Current unrestricted driver's license is required.
