As a Field Service Specialist, you'll work independently to activate and assure telecommunications technology products and services, ensuring a great experience for our customers in their homes and businesses.

You'll participate in a diverse team environment to deliver optimal customer and commercial outcomes aligned to our corporate strategy.

The role requires you to reside in the targeted area or be willing to relocate. We have several positions available across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver seamless service rectification and product installations to full customer satisfaction.
  2. Copper cable maintenance and installation, including fault finding, jointing, jumpering, and networking.
  3. Maintenance and management of Fibre network technology, Core network technology, and Data services.
  4. Customer Premises Equipment maintenance and installation for both consumer and business.
  5. Fault finding over copper networks in rural or remote settings.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Telecommunications.
  • Open cabling license.
  • Traffic management qualifications.
  • Industry white card.

Telstra can support you through training on Traffic management and white card certificates. This role requires vaccination against Covid-19 to ensure the safety and well-being of our people and customers.
