Job Description

Our client is a leading Australian manufacturing organisation with a rich history spanning over 50 years. They have an engaged and productive workplace where employees work together to deliver business strategy and objectives.

The WHS Advisor role is a highly visible position that provides the opportunity to obtain a holistic view of a safety system, learning all aspects in a manufacturing environment that is growing and developing.

  • Ensure the coordination and implementation of health and safety programs;
  • Provide advice and assistance on all safety matters, to all workers;
  • Focusing on strong preventative activities and processes;
  • Participation in the development and further improvement of the WHS Management System.
  • Developing and maintaining a training and development structure and system;
  • Working with managers and supervisors to ensure workers receive the training required to carry out tasks effectively and safely; and
  • Contributing to various projects.

This opportunity allows you to learn and take your existing WHS qualifications (Cert IV min) and experience to a new level. You will be mentored and given the autonomy to grow, working side by side on the factory floor and throughout the organisation.
