**About the Role**
As the
**Safety & Health Specialist - Systems and Reporting** you will be tasked with supporting a large H&S team in providing the wider business advice and contributing to the development and maintenance of the Safety & Health Management System and internal health and safety reporting.

You will report into an exceptionally supportive leader and work with a fantastic team of safety professionals.

As the
**Safety & Health Specialist - Systems and Reporting** your role will cover:
Safety Management System
- Reviewing and developing procedures tools and templates in collaboration with the safety team, operations and contractors
- Conducting research and analysis to support system improvements
- Develop training and other supporting material to educate the teams on any changes to the systems

Monthly & Annual Reporting & Research
- Collation, preparation and evaluation of Safety and Health data including:

- Analysis of data and provide recommendations on trends and opportunities
- Identify emerging risks and trends in incidents, hazards, near hits
- Support the continuous improvement of monthly dashboards and reporting.

Other
- Coaching teams to effectively report and use the system
- Lead Incident Causation Analysis Method (ICAM) investigations where required to ensure the identification of the root cause and appropriate corrective actions
- Peer review investigations to drive a high standard of investigation and reporting
- Manage site safety inspections and audits and proactively collaborate with leaders to mitigate business risk
- Identify recommendations on the outcomes of audits and inspections, where appropriate

**The Individual**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent is mandatory
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) is desirable
- ICAM Investigation qualification or similar is desirable
- Current First Aid qualification is desirable

Your skills and experience will have provided you with the below:

- Demonstrated knowledge of the development of safety management systems
- Solid understanding of statutory and non-statutory legislation associated with the management of workplace safety
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite
