As an Investigator, you will play a pivotal role in conducting investigations in relation to matters raised under legislation administered by Consumer Protection.

You will compile briefs of evidence for use in any court or tribunal and provide advice on investigations, offences, and non-compliance matters.

\
  • Analyse complaints and prepare investigation plans
  • Gather evidence from relevant sources through appropriate means, such as collecting witness statements, executing search warrants, and conducting records of interviews
  • Assess the information received to identify potential offences or instances of non-compliance under applicable laws

  • Prepare high-quality written material in the form of letters, briefing notes, and investigation reports

\Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations and strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in interpreting, analysing, and applying legislation to identify non-compliance
