Job Description

The Senior Occupational Therapist will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide ongoing recovery-oriented assessment and treatment through case management for older people with mental health needs living in the community.

Collaborating with the team, the successful candidate will facilitate access to a broad range of clinical and non-clinical services, empowering individuals to establish, re-establish or reclaim a hopeful and meaningful life in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized care plans, enhancing the quality of life for older people with mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care and support
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including consumers, carers, and other healthcare professionals
