Job Title: Child Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Child Mental Health Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families, providing evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate psychosocial, emotional, and behavioral issues.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team setting, collaborating with paediatricians, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, social workers, and child & family health nurses.
  • You will be responsible for delivering group programs for children and parents, including emotional regulation and parenting support.
  • The role involves accessing a range of cognitive and educational assessments for paediatric clients.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to develop and implement evidence-based interventions for children and families.
  • Experience working with children, young people, and families in a mental health setting.
  • A postgraduate qualification in psychology or a related field.
