Event Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to support the planning, development, operations, and delivery of the City's events to enhance liveability and achieve the City's vision to be the events heart of WA.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Planning, delivering, and evaluating events aligned with the City's Events Strategy
  • Managing infrastructure, production, and programming for the City's events adhering to relevant legislation, regulations, and City policies and procedures
  • Preparing tender specifications and event documentation relating to event operations and programming, including Event Risk Management and Evacuation Plans
  • Managing and monitoring operational budgets for City events to ensure projects, programs, and services operate within adopted budgets

You will have demonstrated experience in the planning and delivery of large-scale events and the ability to manage multiple event projects and prioritise workload in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

In this role, you will liaise and consult with stakeholders including City staff, community members, suppliers, contractors, and other agencies to deliver and promote events.
