Event Coordinator Role

CDS Australia seeks a skilled Event Coordinator to direct and coordinate warehouse activities, promote vendor products, and maintain member services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing and coordinating warehouse activities relating to successful events
  • Promoting and selling vendor products in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Overseeing daily activities engaged in successful product vendor events and supervising Sales Advisors
  • Managing the daily activities of Product Demonstrators to prepare products and interact with Costco customers
  • Training, coaching, mentoring, and guiding employees in the systematic and successful execution of consumer events
  • Providing oversight to Product Demonstrators in the proper execution of all established quality, safety, and sanitation practices of warehouse operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory position
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in previous roles
  • Ability to recruit, coach, counsel employees, and take corrective measures as needed
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulatory standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask during events
  • Inventory control and labor management experience is beneficial
