About this role

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team.

This is a dynamic and collaborative work environment where you will have the opportunity to lead diverse events, develop your skills, and make a meaningful impact in the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events at various locations. This includes developing detailed event plans and timelines, managing vendor coordination, and ensuring smooth execution on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of weekly events.
  • Develop and manage detailed event plans and timelines to ensure successful execution.
  • Handle requests for information about our event services, including vendor spaces, equipment rental, setup, and related costs.
  • Promote our range of events, amusements, and entertainment opportunities to potential vendors and participants.
  • Engage with vendors and clients to understand their needs and provide service recommendations.
  • Organise essential services for events, such as vendor booths, catering, signage, displays, and audio-equipment.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to discuss service types and costs.
  • Register vendors and participants, ensuring a smooth process.
  • Supervise contractors and vendors, ensuring tasks are completed as planned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven event management experience.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Passion for creating memorable experiences.
  • Availability to work on public holidays.
  • Own reliable transport.
  • Relevant tickets such as a White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, and Traffic Management.
