The Conference and Events Coordinator provides professional service to guests ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded. This position works closely with internal stakeholders from other hotel departments to ensure events are planned and executed professionally and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake daily administration tasks including correspondence, filing, and preparation of quotes
  • Assist in the coordination of conferences, dinners, weddings, accommodation, and private dining restaurant bookings as required
  • Handle calls, book appointments, assist in lead generation and enquiry follow-up
  • Work closely with back-of-house teams to ensure events are coordinated appropriately
  • Ensure presence on site for special events or at the direction of senior management
  • Conduct site inspections for clients and third-party suppliers as required for event coordination
  • Prepare regular reports as directed by senior management
  • Represent the hotel and its partners as a brand ambassador
  • Attend all scheduled meetings and participate in training programs
  • Conduct post-event follow-up and work closely with clients to secure future business
