The Role

We're seeking an experienced Clinical Speech Pathologist to join our team of mobile clinicians. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality speech pathology services to adults living in residential aged care facilities and the local community.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those living with dementia, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke, progressive neurological disorders, and ageing-related decline. You'll be responsible for assessing and diagnosing swallowing and communication difficulties, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing ongoing support and guidance to our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality speech pathology services to adults living in residential aged care facilities and the local community.
  • Assess and diagnose swallowing and communication difficulties.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address client needs.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients and their families.
  • Liaise with our close-knit national team of Speech Pathologists to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • A professional qualification in Speech Pathology with an active membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Experience working with adults living with complex medical conditions, including dementia, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke, progressive neurological disorders, and ageing-related decline.
  • Strong assessment and diagnosis skills, with the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • A base salary of AU$95,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
