The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our small dynamic LiveBig team in Cairns. As part of the Arriba Group, we pride ourselves on being voted Best Place To Work in Healthcare by the Australian Financial Review.
- Full-time permanent role with flexibility to be based from home for reporting and administration.
- Can be based anywhere in Cairns (hybrid role).
- Administering and interpreting audiometric tests to determine hearing efficiency and locate sites of detected hearing problems.
- Interpreting test results alongside other medical, social, and behavioural diagnostic data.
- Evaluating total response pattern and acoustic tests to distinguish between organic and non-organic hearing loss.
You will have a diverse caseload and be responsible for providing assessment, intervention, reporting, therapy planning, and clinical recommendation within the scope of your clinical discipline.
A strong passion for working with people with a disability and NDIS experience is preferred but not essential. Paediatric and/or adult experience is highly desirable.
What You'll Need- SPA registration as a Speech Pathologist.
- Excellent time management skills and organisational skills.
- IT skills at an intermediate level including computer and mobile, and a willingness to embrace new technology.
- Hold a driver's license and have use of your own vehicle.
